you used cdrwin and it still didn't work? hmm...sorry my method wasn't any help o.O

The problem isn't CDRWIN, your friend was right, it's XP. I believe since Win2000, there hasn't been an ASPI (Advanced SCSI Programming Interface) manager included, you have to download it. Just use a search engine and look up "ASPI", look around and you'll find what you're looking for. Install it and CDRWIN should work fine.

for aspi, go to and click on scsi software. d/l aspi layer 4.70 for XP and run the app. now it's win-based, no more need to do so in dos.
