hello gang, here it is, I'm doing the Green Mile and it is taking 12 hours to encode it!!! That is amazing, is there something I need to change to speed this up?

Celeron 1.1 gig
640 mb pc 133 ram
20 gig hd
windows xp

Free up the CPU, Close down all unnecessary TSRs.
Also you can encode at a reduced quality , there are options on speed/quality in TMPGEnc ranging from fast/low to slow/high.
Encoding to MPEG2 for SVCD is also slower than MPG for VCD.
