Default .exe, .rar, .rar, .rar... ?

What's up with the archives where one file is called .exe and the rest called .rar - selfextracting for pc? any way to get round it without an emulator?

Use a PC? I don't know...besides emulation.....

What you have is called an SFX archive (SelF eXtracting). It can be opened on a Mac using MacRAR, or on almost any PC without any special software. I'm not sure, but MacRAR may be freeware at I use it, and it's worked great so far.
