Unhappy .exe

can someone help me .ive got mohaa backup but ive been told to alter the .exe file because it wont play.how do i do that and were is it and how to put a new one in .can someone tutor me with simple steps because i been to some sites and there hard to complicated to understand.

umm, you shouldn't have to do that, the backup should just work.
