Default what is difference between "magic chip2 and messiah for VERSION 5 USA system?

any input would be great. dont know what happened to my PS2 ,have bill at PSX age looking at it now. not reading anything.. so far NOT laser. anyway if I have to buy a version 5 PS2.... what will the difference be between using the "magic chip 2 " and the messiah when it arrives? ANYONE USING THE MAGIC CHIP 2 WITH THERE VERSION 5? thanks to all

there is no difference at all....same functions, same price, basically the same install points. Only difference is that the Magic Chip 2 looks different and actually WORKS on v5 ntsc (USA) system and the messiah doesnt at this moment.
