Default pause a printer from the command line?

sponsored links

when i print, it slows my computer way down. so i usually pause the printer until i have several things to print or will be away from my desk for a few minutes. it's kind of irritating but it works. does anyone know how to do this from the command line (pause & unpause a printer or all the printers), so that i could make a batch file that would toggle between pause & unpause. i would save me a little time when i go to print & over the couse of a day it would be nice.
