Question Do I Have A Virus?

sponsored links

Hello everyone! I was surfing the web today and all of a sudden I got a normal pop-up and then my anti-virus (Norton SystemWorks 2003) said that I had a virus (HTML.Redlof.A). Here is a link with the info about the virus:
********securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/html.redlof.a.html
Now, I've ran a full system scan and no virus found. Checked the registry for those entries that the virus was supposed to make and haven't found any. I didn't want to assume that the virus didn't affect my computer, so I am asking some of you guys. If it makes a difference, I am running XP Pro. I'm not sure if some viruses are specifically for Home/Pro or anything. Can anyone explain to me if I do have a virus or not? If not, why did Norton notify me? Thanks in advance to those who reply!

I'm inclined to think that you aren't infected. Perhaps NAV caught it. Open up NAV and go to Reports. Next to "Activity Log" click "View Report". Click on "virus alerts" in the left window. Is there anything listed there? Close that window, then next to "Quarantined Items" click "View Report". Click on "Quarantined Items" in the left window. Is there anything listed there?
