Default 'click' sound at end/start of audio tracks

sponsored links

I have made a audio cd from my mp3 cd , when I play the audio cd I can hear a 'click' sound right at the end or beginning of the songs.
The same sound is also heard on the source cd ( mp3 ).
Is there anything I can do to prevent this sound from being copied onto my cd ? Has anyone else had this problem before ?
I'm using nero 5.5

Use a CDRW so that you may not waste a CDR and do this:

- Don't do a disc to disc copy.

- Burn the MP3s to audio CD as you normally do but use Disc At Once. Highlight all tracks but the 1st one, set gap to 0 sec. Then hightlight all tracks including track 1 and apply crossfade of 5 frames b/w tracks (even tho it's not necessary to include the last track).

- Burn the CDRW and listen to it on WMP to see if the clicks are still there.

- If you still hear the clicks then you must manually edit the MP3s to cut these clicks out.

Forgot to say there are good stuff you can use here ***********.audiotools.co.uk/cutters.shtml .

Thanks for the replies.
Van Nugent: I will give your suggestion a try, hopefully it will work and save me manually editing each track.
Thanks again,I'm now going to have a look at the link you gave me
