Exclamation *CD Copying Problems - Please Help!*

sponsored links

When I try making a backup of some of my CDs with CloneCD (the new one, version 4) it gets to 98% then stops writing - leaving the CD buggered up. The CDs im backing up are legit, so far it's happened with the Jimi Hendrix double-disc set and the new Queens of the Stone Age album. Is this just copy-protection or my computer or what? Thanx to anyone who helps me out

Have you tried it with Nero?
Try saving as an image to the HD and then burning.
In clone use the copy game option instead of audio.

Did you run "clony" first to determine what protection, if any, was used so you dould set clone cd accordingly.

What is the disc time looking like? I dont know if it applies to you, but each individual writer only writes to a certain point. Im not able to burn anything past 76 minutes, 09 seconds.

If I try to, the laser stays active forever and ever. If I press the eject button I get the red light. And CTRL+ALT+DELETE on the keybaord does nothing either. Try running a "simulation" beforehand also.

Yeah that would make sense mate, both CDs are verry long. I'll give Clony a shot and if it don't work I'll know why. Thanks for your help :-)

Man, tried Clony XXX but no luck. Think it is to do with the length of the CD. That's a ******* really, ain't there a way round it?
