it sometimes dunt matter how big the file it will fit on the disc on minutes only if it is 84 minutes or below then u shud b ok

It always matters how big the file is. We are talking AVI's here where the length and the time are basically completely indipendant. I could have a RAW AVI that is under 1min long and it will be too big for a CDR. On the other hand I could have a heavily compressed low res one of 3hours that fits fine.
