Question Extra Audio Track using Nero

sponsored links

I have recently discovered a problem with Nero when recording Audio Cds, either from MP3, or copying a CD.

The CD always has an extra track, and it is always track 1. If you try to play the CD in a normal CD player it cannot read this track 1, and the CD fails to start. The only workaround is to start the CD at track 2.

Playing the CD on a PC, Media player ignores this track 1, and jumos straight to track 2.

When I had a look at the properties of the track in Windows Explorer, it always reports the track as being a CD Audio Track.

I am using Nero 5.5.82 on Win Me. The CD Writer is a liteon 24x10x40.

So, the obvious question is has anyone else experinced this and if so, what is the fix?

No, m8. I suggest upgrading to 5590 to see if it fixes the problem.
