Default Laser eye question

My v3 ps2 laser has packed in and i have a laser spare of
a v5 ps2 is it possible for me to use this laser in my v3 ps2

yeah, I think it should work. Well, it worked with my ps2.

Version 1,2,3,& 4 use the same style laser, but the ones in the V5 are different and I don't think it will work for you....You can buy lasers from a whole bunch of different places. They usually run around $60 a piece...
