Facebook video cutter-Trim AVCHD MTS/M2TS file for Sharing
Add AVCHD videos to Facebook-Cut/Trim recordings with no loss of quality

How many of you have Facebook account, and how often do you upload or share videos on Facebook? There are two ways to add AVCHD videos to Facebook. One is directly uploading files from local computer, the other is capturing video with webcam. Here we would like to talk about the uploading from local computer.

There are many formats supported by facebook video for sharing, even the .mts files from AVCHD camcorders. However, you may sometimes find that some of the content in the recordings is no good, or moving the camcorder too fast. You will need a Facebook video cutter to trim AVCHD MTS/M2TS files. Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac is the recommended HD camcorder cutter/trimmer for managing video collections without quality loss. It supports HD videos from camcorders like Sony CX700, Panasonic TM900, Panasonic SD90, Canon HF S30, and so on.

Below is the quick guide for you to cut and join AVCHD video without conversion, retaining the original quality. Here we take Panasonic TM900 and Mac Snow Leopard as an example.

Step 1. Import AVCHD clips to Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac.
Run Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac as the best Facebook video cutter on Mac, and you can capture videos from the camcorder connected to Mac, or browse video collections from Mac hard drive.
- For videos from camcorder, the video cutter will pop up a message asking you to import or backup videos. Just choose import for fast loading.
- For videos on hard drive, just got to the Resource tab and click the "Add file path" button to browse the folder with .mts clips.

Step 2. Cut and join video for Facebook.
Select a file from the Camcorder tab or Resource tab, drag and drop to the timeline, and a lossless movie will be created. To cut/trim the video, just play it and click the Split button when it plays to the frame you want. As Final Mate for Mac is frame-accurate cutter, you can also pause the video, and click the Previous Frame or Next Frame for the exact frame you want to cut.

To join another clip to the end of the movie, just select the file, drag and drop to the movie ID. The files will be joined into one file as output.

Step 3. Export videos with no loss of quality.
Click the "Export" button, and then the OK button. The Facebook avchd video cutter and joiner will trim MTS/M2TS file for easy sharing.

Hope you enjoy the steps above to cut/trim recordings to facebook. You can then upload AVCHD camcorder clips from Mac/PC.

You can also add YouTube tab on your facebook page/account and show your favorite on facebook. Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac is the perfect lossless MTS or M2TS cutter for you to upload videos on Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo etc.
