Default new burner need help!

sponsored links

I just got a new computer and with it came a generic 24x cd burner. I haven't been able to successfuly burn a DC game yet. I have tried nearly every possible speed and different brands of CDr's, but still no luck.

The only thing I can think of would be some type of firmware change I need, but I thought that was just for older burners. Anyone have any ideas??

windows xp home

the game burns fine, but when I try to play it on my DC it loads up as music. I have tried like 4 different games, different cdr brands, and burn speeds as low as 8x, but still get the same thing.

This is probably a stupid thing to ask, but were the games selfbootable? Are you using DJ 3.5?
