Default Problem using instant copy. (CSS NOT SUPPORTED)

sponsored links
I have been using Instant copy to copy multi episode DVD with good success.

I am trying to back up series 2 of the simpsons and when trying to copy from the ripped version (Smart Ripper) Istant copy is comming up with the following message " CSS Not Supprted When Reading From Hard Disk"

Series 1 (3 Discs) have all been backed up without fault using the same method any Ideas.

I have had the same problem happen to me a few times now aswell, I always use Smartripper and it rips the dvd fine but when I run it through IC7 or dvd2one they always error because of CSS still being present, anyone know why the protection is remaining and is there another problem that I can use which will defently get rid of the protection, I tried using DVD Secrypter in ISO mode but then I couldnt load the iso file in IC7.

Rip using DVD Decryptor in ISO, then load to virtual drive like Daemon Tools or in File Mode. The you can load into IC with no probs.

Is there any reason not to simply just rip using DVD Decrypter in file mode (select all files) and load the IFO file into IC7?

Works every time for me, I did try Smartripper a couple of times with IC7 when it first came out and I too suffered the same css problems as you on a couple of movies. I've never had a single problem using DVD Decrypter in this way though.
