Smile TMPGEnc Converter Help...

sponsored links

Ok, so i have an avi i want to convert to mpeg. The video length is about 87 mins, but when i open it in TMPGEnc Converter it says something like 250 mins long! This causes the converted mpeg to be like, 300% the max dvd size! I've heard that it's a problem with the avi but i was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly how to fix this! Thax alot,

You might be able to use the source range setting in Tempgenc to overcome the avi file error.
Alternatively I think that VirtualDub (or VirtualDubMod)would enable you to cut the file down to it's correct size. If you do this save the file using the "direct stream" option.
