Unhappy fitting new hard drive

sponsored links

i've just got a maxtor diamondmax plus 9 120gb ata133 hard drive but cant get it to show up as a useable drive...it shows in device manager and in bios.

I've disconnected my cd drives and put it as master on that cable on it's own.

I have 2 other 20 gig drives which are full and need to connect all 3 to move stuff over to the new drive before disconnecting one.

there are 4 jumper settings ds master, ds slave, cs and cap limit.

is there any reason why i cant get it to show?
