I think you can,besides the gameshark cannot boot everything because of it's small toc size.That's what i've heard.As for the buttons,i just can't get it off,i don't wanna break anything.

DVD Region X will only boot up CD-R backups under 630mb. It won't boot DVD-R's or DVD-rips over 630mb.
As for the reset/eject buttons, I just left them in the top shell and laid the top shell right next to the mainboard. You should have plenty of room with the ribbon cable.
