Default CD-RW recording with lots of mistakes??

sponsored links

Brand new CD-ROM(Samsubg) can't write right!
I mean-it starts (Nero for example) and on the data verification it gives a whole lot of mistakes! When I open a .jpg that i have written on the cd I see the mistakes-half cut images and many others of that kind! Some of the faulty images repeat the mistakes when i try writing to another cd!It gives the same problems with the XP Recording Software! From the shop i bought the CD-ROM say it's a software problem! What to do?

I seriously doubt it's a software problem, the losers at the shop just don't want to exchange it.

It's most likely either a bad drive or compatability issues with the brand of CD's your using. Try a different brand and if that doen't solve the problem, demand a replacement drive.

Well, I guessed so! And I tried it on another PC and it worked perfectly!
I still can't make a sense out of this!

Could well be an issue with your IDE cables. Either they're not seated properly or just faulty. Try another cable, like one from the other computer you tried the writer in.
