Default Digital coax splitter

sponsored links

Not sure if this topic goes here or not but am wondering, I have a dvd player and digital cable box, both have a digital coax out, no optical, and my receiver only has one digital coax in slot, I bought the special digital coax cables for each but I need to combine them to go into the one slot, I have not seen any digital cables to be able to combine them into one, If I were to use a regular type one would this affect anything???
