Thumbs up Probs With Non Solder Mod Chip ?

sponsored links

Hiya All,

one of my m8's seems to be experincing problems using back ups with the following combo.

No Solder R Modchip (which is a pretty new chip)
Action Replay V2
Mega Memory 16 MB memory card

Most seem to work o.k but i done him about 30 discs and about 9 did not boot now i have checked the discs and they are o.k so it would seem the combo does not agree with these discs.

So has anyone else had any probs with a Non Solder Chip ?

You raddvice would be much appreciated

Cheers

Dunno m8 he says the others work but this could be the problem, but can not see what the mem card has to do with it though as im under the impression you just need the AR to boot the games but i suppose the MM 16 could cause a conflict ?

Check the discs that don't work - I guess that they're all 630 mb plus (dvd rips?) - this is bigger than the AR toc. If you want to play dvd games, get dvd copies and use 'dave mirra' trick
