Default egg mania

Just a thought, I have seen some issues between pal and ntsc games vs. pal and ntsc xbox's, see if you can find out if the game is either pal or ntsc and see if that matches your xbox. If not you might try to switch the video to the other mode and see what happens. If that doesn't work, try clearing your cache files in e:\cache and try the game. If it still does not load, try dumping everything in the x,y and z drives. This will cause some loss of game profile settings, but I had the same problem with Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, and just dumping e:\cache fixed it. I have also read that a corrupt game save can cause the same issue, so as a last resort, you might try backing up your game saves to your pc and dumping them from the xbox.

Hope this helps
