Question LG (GCE-8525B) firmware problem

I load the new firmware in my CD drive LG (GCE-8525B) but in the process the power went down.
Now the CD drive is not reconized by the PC and the power gren led of the drive is of.
I don´t have support of the product in my countruy
What can I do?

Unfortunately updating the firmware is an extremely risky process and if it goes wrong such as losing power during the update the CD Burner gets fried beyond repair.

I would believe your drive is dead and your best option is to purchase another, sorry.
