Question Noton Personal Firewall vs Zone Alarm Pro

Practical problem here…. what should i do?

I need a firewall, but I can´t decide what to choose…. Norton Personal Firewall 2003, or Zone Alarm Pro 3.0?

Why don't you download the Norton & Zone alarm products and try them both. You can get NPF from here ********nct.digitalriver.com/0001/ and Zone Alarm (Not Pro) from here ***********.zonelabs.com/store/content/catalog/products/zonealarm/znalm_details.jsp

At least that way you can compare the two products on your system (Not at the same time)

I used to use Zone Alarm and found the basic free programme excellent..

I'm going to move this to the Networking and Security forum, however I think that Hoss runs both in XP. Although given a choice, I'd choose ZoneAlarm 3 over Norton just because I think that ZoneAlarm is much easier to configure and causes less conflicts. That is only my opinion though.

Out of those two Zone Alarm. Norton has a habit of blocking stuff it shouldnt for example you cant use some shopping carts if your using Norton.
