Default Why won't my PC turn on? [; ; winXP]

sponsored links

My system specs:

AMD 2000+ XP
ASUS A7v333 (RAID)
120Gb Maxtor HDD (on raid)
512Mb DDR RAM
Liteon 48x CD-RW (primary master)
Pioneer A05 DVD-RW (secondary master)

I have been running this system fine for months now. Yesterday I finally decided to add the firewire add on and the 2 extra USB and game port (that plug into the motherboard, not PCI).

Oh, I also plugged in my PWR FAN (is this the one that comes from the power supply? as thats what I did!). I have done that before and thought I had fried my motherboard but I didn't. I just had the same prob (PC won't turn on) but for the life of me I can't remember what I did.

Now my PC won't turn on with these installed.

I have uninstalled them and reset the CMOS. Still won't turn on though.

I know a lot of you guys have this board so I was wondering if you guys had these extras plugged in or whether you not what is wrong with mine.

Thanks in advance.

Did it boot power on after the flash? Maybe a bad flash

If it boots without the fan etc get a new power supply i would recomend a 400w but I have a similar spec on 350w.
