Default Where can I get the lastest XVid codec from?

The one I currently have installed doesnt play sound from some xvid encoded movies. So I'm guessing its not up to dat. Where can I get the latest version?

XviD is purely a video ccdec, it has absolutly nothing to do with audio. If you aren't getting audio, then at a guess it is because the file uses AC3 audio and you don't have an AC3 decoder installed, aren't using a player that supports AVI/AC3 parsing or don't have a AC3/AVI parser filter installed.

That all said, if you want the absolute latest build of XviD then you are going to need to download and compile the latest devapi4 CVS source.

As I said, from the CVS. If you have to ask about compiling, then you probably shouldn't be doing it, however I would suggest MS VC++ 6.

Besides that, devapi4 is still somewhat unstable and should only be used for testing.
