Question Medion PCs - where to buy in the UK.

sponsored links

I know Aldi supermarkets were selling them, but they went in seconds. Anyone know of any alternative stores (or on-line) where I can pick one up.
It's the 2Ghz P4 model.

I dunno about other models or if my m8 just knaffed his up, but I went to play with the 699 one that was recently on offer and it was pants.

Copying on the fly without buffer underruns was non existant so a full cd was taking around 8 minutes to copy. The graphics card could not be configured correctly so TV out was really knackered.

All in all I was not impressed with it, as I say though my m8 has a habit of breaking his PC's without appearing to do a single thing to them..LOL

I got the Medion 1.6GHz pc from Aldi and have had no complaints from it considering the price (half the price of my previous pc from 5 years ago and much better).

The only complaint I had was that I couldn't get the GeForce3Ti200 graphics card to give TV-Out even though the spec allowed it and all the connections were there. The helpline wern't very helpfull-----all they could say was ' well all the machines in our office work ok when connected to TVs'.

In the end I got TVTool (********tvtool.info/index_e.htm) and it worked great. Got the trial and then registered for 6.

All in all it does what I want it to do, but I haven't used it in anger yet.

PC World were selling them at one point but then all of a sudden stopped----don't know why.
