Default ripper chip 2 help pls

hi all
i got my ps2 chipped with the Ripper chip 2 Gold and it only plays games on ritek media, is this normal.
And can some pls tell me how to install the navigator on my ps2. I burned the cue and bin file on cdr using cdrwin and creating a data cd. put it into my ps2 and it just goes straight to the screen where u see a cd and your memory card. What am i doing wrong

Every PS2 is different on which media it likes, it really has nothing to do with the chip and everything to do with the laser. If it's an older system, then I could see that it may only read Riteks (or Verbatim) and not generics or Princos. You really should only run quality media in it anyway if you want the laser to last...
