Default help finding burner (CDG comp.)

sponsored links
Hi, I've been having problems for months now. I've been trying to copy my CDGs and burn some off my pc, but every program I've used and ever CD ROM I've looked for to be compatible have been fruitless. Is there anyone who can help me find a Burner that's compatible to burn and copy CDGs that is new and easy to find to buy as I live in a small town. It's been frustrating and I would appreciate any help I could get as some of my CDGs are getting scratched and I don't wanna lose them.
Thanks for your time, Jo'Anne

Yamaha drives ( most ) - Plextor ( considered best ) LiteOn ( I personally choose ) and NEC burners are typically good for karaoke. You will find that using a program called Alcohol 120% together with CloneCD you can even burn/backup CDG`s with any non compatible burner.

I personally use this drive and have no problems burning cdg at 48x.

Luckily for me its a 5 min walk. if your in uk, it can be purchased online and I think they do deliver.

That is all you need.

BTW... What burner (make and model number) do you have now, and what programs have you used to back up your disks?

i agree, Plextor is the best. I use clone cd to copy them all. I know Chartbuster, Sound Choice and Top Tunes are multisession and some programs won't copy them. Cdrwin works good but it won't do mulitsession. I also use Micro Studio from MTU. I like Micro Studio the best.

Burning cd+g's
I have been burning cd+g's for 5 years even multi session using CDRWIN 3.9f or earlier and mp3+g tools 2 with Sony cd-rw CRX140e and still using same burners, there is a lot more burners available now plus Plexitor and not all Plexitor's burn CD+G

converting cd+g to vcd is easy with power cdg2avi or powercdg2mpg takes a while, but will play in any DVD cost between $24 to $44, I have used both programs: (***********) you can get 104 song's on a disk naturally more on double sided DVD not quite double depending on length of file's.

It's not that hard.
