Default IE Save As.. not accepting JPG extension [; ; winME]

sponsored links

Hi,

Trying to save few JPGs in IE by right clicking and Save As...

Somehow it is not accepting extension. I had to append it manually with the image name. Recent installation is IE 6 SP1. Have tried by clearing temp files, history, etc.

Thanks!

Thanks a lot Gooner m8!

Unchecking "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" from Tools, Options, Advanced Tab has done the trick.

I was wondering about this last night. I'm also running IE 6 with SP1 installed. I checked and I had the same problem as MasterMind. However I was indisposed and didn't really have a chance to get into it further. I just looked into "Do not save encrypted pages to disk", and it wasn't checked. It really doesn't matter to me, but I'm just curious for others. I've heard that uninstalling SP1 for IE is probably the only solution. Any comments?

And sorry to jump on your thread, MasterMind.
