Default NOOO!!! MY NERO BACKUP!!! HELP!!!! [dell; Laptop P3; winME]

sponsored links

I have nero 5.5 on my laptop, and i love it! it's great!

however, my original nero disk cracked in half due to an unfortunate carrying it in the front of my backpack accident, so it is gone and never coming back.

is there some kind of way i can extract the nero program from my comptuer and burn it to a disk so i can re-install nero again?

i have windows ME, and it is pissing me off lately, being all slow and erroneous, so i want to burn all my important stuff to a disk, and reformat and reinstall windows.

i really need nero, and i don't want to shell out any money to purchase another disk. please help me!

not to spice up your fire at the moment but Ahead had an offer for Retail 5.5 owners until 31/12/03 for a free upgrade to version 6.

You may want to contact them and see if they will honour that offer.

otherwise, I can't think of anyway you are proposing to extract the files back into an installer.

If you are really that desperate and you have the damaged cd, I'm sure Ahead would send you another one to replace it.

Greetings, salutations, Happy Festivus, and kudos to all and sundry.

That's a good idea but where would one find Nero 5.5 when all that the nero site has to offer is version 6? No I'm asking people to post warez links but I can't see where a legitimate download of Nero 5.5 can be found. I think it is unfortunate that nero no longer supports their earlier products.
