Default Annoyin Error Message - No ISDN devices found!

sponsored links

Keep getting an annoying error message when I start up my networked Win98 PC:

"No ISDN Devices found Please install an ISDN device and run the configuration Wizard Again"

I have never had an ISDN device on my machine nor have I ever ran the ISDN configuration wizard.

I have tried running the configuration wizard but get the above message again.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Thanks

You can bypass the error by going to start/run and type in msconfig and hit enter, then hit the startup tab. Find the entry for cfgwiz32.exe and uncheck it, then restart. However this won't solve what's causing it, only getting around it.
