Default Can you recommend a good DVD Video Player ?

sponsored links

I've noticed that some Dvd players are having more difficulty reading Dvd-R disks. My DVD player is a Toshiba and sometime it seems to skip and makes weird noised when playing some of my DVD-R. I heard that some brand are better reading DVD-R. Can anyone suggest a brand that can read DVD-R without any problems ?

When i play any DVD-R on my computer they run perfectly fine, when i played them on my home theater system some disks are causing problems (skiping).

Thanks

Apex read DVD-Rs fine. I hear good things about Cyberhome in that aspect as well. Finally, you may want to check out the Lite-On DVD player as it plays DivX as well.

Get an APEX. There are tons of upgrades. You can patch it to read other regions' DVDs and also expandable with connection of a hard drive. I have the 660 model and have done all the upgrades to it. It plays DVD-R! find out more here > ***********.nerd-out.com/forum/viewforum.php?forum=7&4802

Yeah, that Lite-On looks good if you have about $100 to spend. If not then I would get a Cyberhome or Apex. Target (or a similar store) has progressive scan Cyberhomes on special for $35 right now.

My recommendation for a cheap DVD player that reads all types of discs is the DV-366. I have the older DV-355. Has no problems reading any disc I've popped into it.

It depends on your dvd writer & your media being compatible with it. If they are, they should play in almost anything. All my Accu dvds written on my Sonys work in every player I have:
Players:
apex
Sony 3kinds
Panasonic 2kinds
Aspire
