Thumbs down NERO won't let RE-new my CD R drive??

sponsored links

I have NERO V5.5.1.54. I use Windows'98 SE still (lol).

The Philips CD burner came bundled with the NERO software.

The Philips CD burner has now died and gone to heaven.

I have bought a new ASUS CD-R/DVD drive to replace it.
BUT NERO tells me it won't let me burn using this new drive as it did not come bundled with it????!!!!!!!! Argh!!

The burner does work with other applications but just not NERO

I have re-installed everything but no change.

Please please please any ideas on how i can get NERO to let me use this new burner??

Thanks
Andy
