Default ZoneAlarm v3.0.2.6 ??

I'm using the trial (30 day) copy of ZoneAlarm and I have a annoying problem with it. The WIN98 start bar keeps dissapearing and you have to Ctrl&Esc to get it back. It doesn't matter how you set the start bar up in properties it happens on all settings. As soon as I close ZoneAlarm all is OK. I cannot see any settings in ZoneAlarm that affect this. Anyone having the same problem? Is there a way round this pain in the ar$e annoyance?

I've not had this problem myself. But I had loads of others since the dawn of V3. If you take the time to visit CNET you will see a lot of very unhappy ZAP users with all sorts of problems similar to this. I've since given up and changed to Sygate Pro and have zero problems with it. It's always nice when software works like it should.

Here ya go:- www.sygate.com/

They do a free version as well. Other good firewalls to maybe consider also if you do not get on well with this are Kerio, Outpost to name a few.

Thumbs down

You've not been straight in BST either, so you are banned as of now.

You knew the rules.
