Default NEC 2500A Copy Protection Error

sponsored links
I recently purchased an NEC 2500A, once installed I immediately tried to copy a DVD using DVDShrink. WhenI click on Open Disc it came up with an error regarding copy protection. As a result I then upgraded the firmware and DVDShrink will now let me open the disc but not back it up as it prompts with the same copy protection error.

So instead I used DVD decrypter to copy it to my harddrive and then used DVDShrink to open these files but when I click on Backup DVDShrink just closes? Any ideas why this might be? I have Nero installed and thought this would allow DVDShrink to backup correctly.

Alternatively can anyone suggest an alternative app to try?
