Default CAn the Pioneer 106 burn 1/2x media?

sponsored links

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I hadn't seen it anywhere. What I want to know is if the Pioneer 106 will be able to burn the ax and 2x media that the 103/104 can write to, but the 105 can't. Basically do I HAVE to use 4x media if I decide to get one of these drives (I know I CAN write at 1/2x on it, but it's the media I want to know about since it's cheaper).

Cheers.

Umm I don't know what you are talking about there as I have been burning the 1x/2x discs on my 105 without any problems. The 105 doesn't just burn 4x discs.

I have a Pioneer 106. Ive been buying the Burn Star discs from www.microsuperstore.com
They are 2x speed discs and burn perfect on my 106. Only 57p each
I only have an Xbox and all the movies burnt on these discs play in my Xbox (Ive got evolution bios) and all the games burnt work in my Xbox.
