Default zip drives

sponsored links
I have been asked to get a zip drive for a friend of the family so I was wondering which are the best ones (external)
I know that a cd writer is alot better but this person has a cdrw and is determined to get a zip drive aswell. So which external zip drives would you recommend?

thanx in advance

Depends on how much capacity you're looking to get.
You've got the 100mb, 250mb, and newest 750mb. Each one varying in their price.

If you're looking for an external, the best would be usb. There's also parallel which is a lot cheaper but a bit slow.

Look for an Iomega. In fact, I think it's the only brand left that offers zip drives.

Just a thought, what about usb memory storage unit (mobile disk). I had a scsi zip for years and when it started giving click of death signs bought one of these. They're compact, come in sizes from 32mb to 1gb and will work in any pc with usb (xp is plug and play).
