Unhappy Open in new window...

sponsored links

In internet explorer, very time I click on a link (the link is supposed to open a new window) it doesn't open. I even try right clicking and use the "open in new window" option, but nothing happens. The new window just stalls... I can close the new window, but the data never appears. The only way is by copying the shortcut and pasting it in a new window.

I tried the MS site, I've found this article : ********support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q180176

I tried that but it doesn't work

I have IE6, with the sp1 installed.

thanks.

Make another useless post like that and you'll get a 1 week suspension.

IE6 with SP1 has been known to cause these kind of wierd problems.
Try repairing Internet Explorer :
Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel, then double-click Add/Remove Programs
On the Install/Uninstall tab, click Microsoft Internet Explorer click Add/Remove click the Repair Internet Explorer option and then click OK

If I understand your problem correctly the same thing used to happen to me.

This was when I was using i.e 5.5, I upgraded to 6 and it solved the problem, so your best bet is to completely uninstall ie and re-install, if that doesnt work then get a new browser, Opera is much better.
