Red face How do I run programs in Windows 98 mode?

I just got a Diamond Rio and the software wont install on my Windows XP. I know there is a way to run individual programs in 98 or 95 mode, but I forgot how to do it. If anyone knows, please post. Thanks.

Locate the *.exe file in windows explorer, right click on it and select properties. There is a compatibility tab there with option of running it in various modes

first off, the compatibilty thing isn't all that great. It works about half the time, from what i've seen, but anyway. If you can't get it to install, you have to select the install program to run in compatabilty mode. I assume this is a disc, goto the whatever you click to install, in win explorer, and select 98 mode.
If its a download, select the file downloaded to run in 98 mode.
After its installed you might have to select whatever file runs it, to run in 98 mode also.
My advice, is get a 2 way boot between xp and 98, and run the progy in 98.
