Default A long awaited question

sponsored links

i've had a question for a long time that i needed to convince myself wasn't a stupid question. so, here goes.

people make dvd rips, which is taking select files from a dvd game and put them on cd's. It conserves space and is cheaper. I've never heard; on the other hand, about trying to take several cd games and puting them on one dvd. in theory, would it be possible to copy multiple cd games (in their own seperate files) on a dvdr? Maybe create a menu that lets you choose what game you want to play and when you do, that game within it's own file seperated from the other game files starts up.

i've wanted to ask that for a long time. just something i've been thinking about.

It has been asked before actually mate but I'm not entirely sure of the outcome...

In theory it would be possible as thats how cover discs work isn't it?!? Has anybody actually tried it though by editing the menu system on a coverdisk and linking them to actual games..

Would be GREAT to be able to put trilogy's e.t.c. onto a single DVD-r...

It's been tried and the outcome is about 89% failure with a very slight margin of discs booting. In the shortest answer I can give programing the dvd is proving to be a very complicated and yet to be perfected process.

Isn't there a way to do this already, I forgot the name, but has a Demo Cd hacker that lets you do this.

I would try, but I don't have a PS2 demo CD.
