Default I think my WinXP killed my PC *urggghhh!!*

Well i had installed my new WinXP demo on my pc when it first came out from microsoft and ever since then it work perfect i knda even forgot it was the demo and the funny part it was supposed to be for only 2mo. but it lasted till last week now its telling me to register the product or it will not load (meaning PC wont start so its straight out dead unless i pay for the OS program) but i did not like winxp ive been meaning to put linux on there till this happend and i dont plan on buying WinXP pro since i dont want it i want Linux is there some thing i can to get rid of XP and put linux on there????

please help

Just boot up with your Linux setup disks and re-partition / format the drive. Easiest way so long as you don't want any data from within XP.

Dont' forget, you'll loose all data on that harddrive

kool dude thanks alot what linux OS do you recomend i was thinking of Red Hat???

No worries, thats what we are here for!

I personally use Mandrake 9, but I know Red Hat is also a good distro so just make an informed decision by going to the websites and just pick one!
