Default sound and pic out of sync

Hi Anybody

Bought a vcd a few weeks back. sound and pic out of sync.
Can anybody suggest in simple terms ... how to get get sound and pic in sync.
Is there a download needed etc ?????

Is it out of sync when played on your PC or only on your standalone??

Anyway, I'm moving this to the VCD forum. But basically you would need to save out the audio adjust it's length and then re-multiplex with the video stream.
