Ok this aint a big thing but its a bit annoying. When I first open up Internet Explorer, it opens up maximised already. But whenever I open anything on a new window, it opens up in a smaller window and not maximised. Anyway to get it to stay maximised? Registry settings maybe?

This is a pain in the arse and affects all versions of Windows and IE.

Have no IE windows open, then open only one.

Place the cursor over the edge of the window until you get a double headed arrow <-->.

Drag the sides until the desired size is achieved.

Press down the shift key, then with the mouse got to File, and Exit or close.

This works with Windows Explorer.

If it still gives you problems, use the Ctrl key instead of shift or hold down the shift key and with the mouse press the x in the top right of window.
