hi guys ok got one of these from the now dead tiny computers
its a very nice machine running windows me
which i might drop for xp

what im looking for into ripping the whole system apart to make it
better bigger hard drive better cpu if i can

can anyone tell me where to look for this information or advice
i would like to take this when i go away working but need it
to work on ntsc format

help me pleassssssssssse

i would imagine thAT it would be very difficult to upgrade this machine, it will prob have a custom mobo in it, to fit its small size, and it prob won't take a bigger cpu, even if it could you might have a heat problem.

putting in a new harddrive should be less painful, you could prob chuck an 80gig in there no prob, but first make sure you have all the software you require to make it back to its original software state.

you may be able to bung some more memory in it as well, but not sure it would be worth it.

you might be better just building yourself a new pc and continuing to use the one you have as a tivo, perhaps with a bigger h/d

hi thanks for the information im going to look into putting a better
hard drive in and allso a new capture card that will work on ntsc system too
do you know any where on the web that someone has modded this

I think you would be better off putting any money into a new system you built for yourself.

Trying to do these sort of systems up is really an exercise in futility and wasting money.
