One option type in the run box under your start menu msconfig
Go to startup and uncheck everything to do with norton and reboot.
Norton wont load then so run the cleaner and if it still says that.
Take note of all the files then boot to dos and delete them from there.
Then boot windows and remove all the registry entrys.
