Question trying to change the info on Win98 system

sponsored links

I have a Win98SE system and I need to change the name of the PC. I was told to do it by left clicking on "My Computer." I see the name, but there doesn't seem to be a way of changing it. Does anybody know how to change the system name somehow?

Steps to Change Name and Company

If you are using Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me:

Don't forget using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall Windows.

NOTE: For information about how to edit the registry, view the Changing Keys And Values online Help topic in Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE). Note that you should make a backup copy of the registry files (SYSTEM.DAT and USER.DAT) before you edit the registry.

Use Registry Editor to change the RegisteredOrganization and RegisteredOwner values in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion

If I understand properly, you can change the name on this way:
Start - settings - control panel - network - identification - computer name.

Exclamation reverse cell phone

Why do a Reverse Cell Phone Lookup? With a reverse cell phone lookup, you’ll be able to find at least the name and address of the person calling you which means you can find other ways of contacting them if necessary. That means you can also find answers if you’re worried about a cheating spouse, a prank caller, and more. While a reverse cell phone lookup can be beneficial in many ways, to really reap the benefits, you need to select a service to use carefully. Free reverse phone lookup services will provide you the information you need, but they aren’t good for anything other than landline numbers. You won’t be able to find out anything about cell phone or unlisted numbers, and that leaves out lots of possibilities.our website: ********phone.koolhost.com/
