Thanks for the warning.

No mention of whether or not it affects DirectX 9.0b anywhere unless I'm missing it though.

Well that update is 948 kb and there is another new security update too I notice for XP at the update site that is newer. That one is a hefty 5.1mb too!

its just stupid, how do M$ expect people to d/l that kind of files on dial up, it will take ages, and most people dont know anything about windows update anyway
