XP has a mind of its own. I tell XP to Always hide this icon (subject) but XP (Microcrap) keeps changing it to hide when inactive.
How do I get XP to stop showing this icon? Thanks.

Do you mean the little popup ballon when you unplug the cable or the icon in the system tray when the network cable isn't connected?

The icon in the system tray. I keep going into Taskbar and Start Menu Properties and I set it to always hide but XP keeps changing it back hide when inactive. I would just like not to see that icon every time I unplug my network cable. Thanks, cause its just one of those things that can make me nuts!!!
