Default Is this Possible?

Well, i already post a thread in which i was asking what part i needed. But now i build up my ps2 without the chip and without that part and it's still working perfectly. Now i'm asking, i need to solder a wire on the spot where that component was and will my ps2 work if i solder it on there?

I hope you guys can help me

that part in the picture from before is a fuse yes you want to solder the wire to it you see that fuse RIGHT next to it (to the right in the picture you put up) you want to drop a bead of solder between the two of them and then place the wire in that bead of solder ******** this will show you where the wire goes kinda just put solder between those 2 fuses in the pic and put the wire in the solder and you good to go
